What is Rhythm[s]myth
Rhythm[s]myth is a concept of performance art where aural and visual mediums, music, lyric poetry, lighting, staging and video, come together and support each other in an immersive experience of our shared humanity to benefit others.
Smyth: one who forges. Myth: the story we were told about how far one musician is allowed to go.
The name is a play on words — the Smyth sewing process that binds the sections of a book together, the smith at the forge, and the myth that you can't be great at many things at once. These songs are stories. This is the book.
